A session over the Internet is an alternative to the traditional method of mental health
support and can help you to deal with some issues such as:

  • anxiety
  • bullying
  • relationship crisis
  • decision making
  • coping with stress
  • coping with anger

A person who offers mental health help via the Internet (e.g. e-MyMind) is a clinical psychologist, counselling psychologist, counsellor or psychotherapist who takes a role of an adviser and may give more direct advice than in a traditional face-to-face session.

NOTE: Mental health help via the Internet is not suitable for people who experience serious crises or who suffer from serious mental health disorders. In such situations, we recommend visiting a psychologist, psychotherapist or psychiatrist. For those who experience serious difficulties, mental health help via the Internet can only be a temporary solution and cannot replace traditional face-to-face therapy session with a professional.
